Marina di Camerota is the best-known seaside area of the municipality of Camerota, in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park. This territory also includes Camerota village, Lentiscosa and Licusati, small inland places that help visitors discover the history, landscape and identity of this part of Cilento.

Marina di Camerota is known for its clear sea, varied beaches, sea caves and beautiful natural scenery. But the area is not only about the coast. Moving a short distance inland, you can find older villages, quieter landscapes and a more traditional side of the territory.

This area is also a good base for exploring other parts of Cilento. Palinuro is very close, while places such as Velia, Paestum, Sapri, Pisciotta, Agropoli, Acciaroli and Salerno can be included in day trips or longer itineraries. From Salerno, visitors can also continue toward the Amalfi Coast and Capri.

For this reason, Marina di Camerota is not only a beach destination. It is also a convenient starting point for discovering Cilento, its villages, its coastline and some of the most interesting places in southern Campania.
