Infreschi Bay is a charming protected marine area located in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park. An unmissable place to take a dip. The coastline is characterized by hidden and isolated beaches watched from above by the ruins of the ancient watchtowers. The different caves, some of which are submerged, make the area even more evocative. The name recalls the springs of fresh water that gush into the sea creating the strange phenomenon of surface waters colder than those closer to the seabed. The bay can be reached by sea from Palinuro and Camerota and this offers the opportunity to visit the caves south of Marina di Camerota or by land following the path from Marina di Camerota to Infreschi, a beautiful panoramic walk through the Mediterranean scrub.
